“When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.” -Acts 2:1-4
The Sacrament of Confirmation, one of the Sacraments of Initiation, is usually conferred in the spring of the 8th grade for those individuals who are either studying at Immaculate Conception School or participating in our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP). It can also be received by adults who go through our RCIA program.
Please contact Coleen D'Amato, Parish Catechetical Leader at (908) 735-0478 for any questions regarding reception of this Sacrament.
The date of the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation is given by the Office of the Bishop.
